Culture Nerd is a brand of The Employee Experience Project Ltd (“EXP”, “we”, “us” or “our”). The Employee Experience Project Ltd is the data controller responsible for personal information collected through the Culture Nerd website.
This privacy policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information when you visit www.culturenerd.com, contact us, subscribe to Culture Nerd communications, register for a Culture Nerd event or masterclass, or book a call with us.
This policy relates to the Culture Nerd marketing website and associated marketing activities. The Culture Nerd AI platform has a separate Privacy Policy covering the information processed through the platform.
We may update this policy from time to time by updating this page.
What we collect
Depending on how you interact with Culture Nerd, we may collect:
- your full name and job title;
- contact information, including your email address;
- information about your organisation, such as company name, address, number of employees and website address;
- information you provide when making an enquiry, registering your interest or booking a call;
- information provided when registering for a Culture Nerd masterclass or event;
- your preferences regarding Culture Nerd email communications; and
- information about how you use the Culture Nerd website.
We may collect this information when you:
- submit an enquiry through the Culture Nerd website;
- book an introductory or discovery call;
- register your interest in Culture Nerd;
- subscribe to Culture Nerd emails;
- register for a Culture Nerd masterclass or event; or
- otherwise contact us about Culture Nerd.
You may also register for certain Culture Nerd events or masterclasses through The Employee Experience Project website. Where the registration form makes clear that registration includes joining the Culture Nerd email subscriber list, your details will be added to the separate Culture Nerd mailing list.
Culture Nerd and EXP maintain separate marketing subscriber lists. Subscribing to Culture Nerd communications does not automatically subscribe you to EXP marketing communications, and subscribing to EXP communications does not automatically subscribe you to Culture Nerd communications.
EXP may occasionally talk about or promote Culture Nerd within communications sent to its own EXP subscribers. Those communications remain EXP communications and do not mean that the recipient has been added to the Culture Nerd subscriber list.
How we use your information
We may use the information we collect to:

- arrange and manage introductory or discovery calls;
- provide information you have requested about Culture Nerd;
- manage registrations for masterclasses and other Culture Nerd events;
- send Culture Nerd news, updates and marketing communications where appropriate;

We use Flodesk to manage and send Culture Nerd email communications.
If you subscribe to Culture Nerd emails, your contact information and subscription preferences may therefore be processed through Flodesk.

Masterclasses and online events
We use Microsoft Teams to host Culture Nerd masterclasses, webinars and some online meetings.
If you register for or attend an event hosted using Microsoft Teams, Microsoft may process information relating to your registration or participation in accordance with its own privacy terms.

Booking a call
We use Acuity Scheduling, a Squarespace product, to manage bookings for introductory and discovery calls.
When you make a booking, information such as your name, email address, organisation and the information you provide as part of the booking process may be processed through Acuity Scheduling.

Our website
The Culture Nerd website is built and hosted using Squarespace.
Squarespace may collect information to provide website functionality and analytics, including:
- information about your browser, network and device;
- your IP address;
- web pages you visited before arriving at our website; and
- information about how you use the website.
This may include information about:
- clicks;
- internal links;
- pages visited;
- scrolling;
- searches; and
- timestamps.
We use this information to understand website traffic and activity and to help us improve the website and user experience.

Culture Nerd AI Platform
This Privacy Policy relates to www.culturenerd.com and Culture Nerd’s associated marketing activities.
The Culture Nerd AI platform is hosted and operated separately from the marketing website and involves different types of data processing.
Information processed through the Culture Nerd AI platform, including information relating to platform accounts and data submitted to the platform for culture analysis, is therefore covered separately.

Where Culture Nerd processes information submitted to the platform by a client organisation on that organisation’s behalf, additional data protection terms may also apply as part of the client’s agreement with Culture Nerd.
